For many years Toowoomba and The Surat Basin has been the unsung hero of the Queensland’s economic and infrastructure growth, underpinned by resources and agriculture, the region is poised to take advantage of significant investment in road, rail and aviation infrastructure.
At the launch event, you will hear first-hand about the $11.5bn pipeline of projects earmarked for the Toowoomba | Ipswich | Logan and the Darling Downs | Maranoa regions and what they mean from a social and economic perspective.
You will also hear reasons to be optimistic about the future of our industry including a keynote address from ARTC on Inland Rail, as well as updates from across the state as Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3, Cross River Rail, Brisbane Metro and upgrades to the M1, Bruce Highway and essential water infrastructure developments all begin in earnest.
