RDACWQ Throws support behind the Nathan Dam project

3 February, 2020

Regional Development Australia Central and Western Queensland (RDACWQ) is fully supportive of Mr Colin Boyce MP’s bid to see the vital Nathan Dam project proceed. The Nathan Dam project is one of three water security projects identified in RDACWQ’s Red Dust to Reef Powerhouse Region Report and is essential for the supply and security of  water to surrounding industrial, mining, agricultural and townships.

In December 2019, RDACWQ Chair, Mr Grant Cassidy OAM , and Director Mr Tony Gambling, met with The Hon Michael McCormack MP, Deputy Prime Minister, Senator the Hon Matt Canavan, Senator the Hon Bridget McKenzie, The Hon Scott Bucholz MP, The Hon Michelle Landry, and Mr Ken O’Dowd to present the Red Dust to Reef Powerhouse Region Report where the Nathan Dam project, along with a range of other projects, were discussed.

RDACWQ will continue to support the Nathan Dam project and looks forward to working with Mr Boyce and Senator Matt Canavan to make this happen.
