Disaster resilience funding for Central Queensland

Congratulations to the Queensland Government on funding projects in our west that will help our region be more resilient in times of a natural disaster.
The following projects have been approved:
Banana Shire Council
- Establish BoM flood warning service for Biloela and Jambin
Central Highlands Regional Council
- Bluff flood mitigation study
- Community resilience education and emergency volunteer recruitment
Gladstone Regional Council
- Uxbridge Road to Maude Hill Road fire trail
Livingstone Shire Council
- Strategic fire trails and mitigation activities
Rockhampton Regional Council
- Rockhampton Airport precinct levee feasibility study
