Disaster Resilience funding in the Central West

Congratulations to the Queensland Government on funding projects in our west that will help our region be more resilient in times of a natural disaster.
The following projects have been approved:
Blackall-Tambo Regional Council
- Early warning river and rain network expansion
- Emergency generators for disaster coordination centres
Diamantina Shire Council
- Birdsville Hall switchboard upgrade
Longreach Regional Council
- Upgrading the existing Ilfracombe evacuation centre
- Disaster management coordination centre improvements
Winton Shire Council
- Old Landsborough Highway replace concrete floodway
