Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program

The Australian Government has announced a new $500 million Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCI Program).
This program will support local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The package of support will help local councils support jobs and businesses by delivering priority projects focused on infrastructure upgrades and maintenance.
Guidelines for the Local Road and Community Infrastructure Program will be provided directly to local governments by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications.
