RDA Central and Western Queensland Strategic Plan Officially Launched

Following on from the hugely successful Red Dust to Reef: Australia’s Powerhouse Region collaboration, RDACWQ is pleased to launch the Regional Development Australia Central and Western Queensland Strategic Regional Plan.
This document is the culmination of many months of extensive collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders from Government, Industry and Community throughout Central and Western Queensland.
Given the diverse nature of Central and Western Queensland and the broad range of economic drivers, the document has been tailored specifically to each unique part of the region.
Further, the plan sets out the high level economic trends influencing our region and captures the many opportunities presented by this.
Finally the report looks at the investment needed in various sectors and the policy settings needed by State and Federal Governments to ensure the economic future of the region.
