North Queensland Defence Industry Forum

RDAFCW Chair, Mr Grant Cassidy attended the North Queensland Defence Industry Forum hosted by Senator the Honourable David Fawcett – Assistant Minister for Defence.
The event was attended by Rockhampton and Central Queensland representatives including Mr Tony Cullen from Advance Rockhampton and Patrice Brown from the Capricornia Business Advisory Alliance.
The forum included various presentations from Defence officials including the Joint Logistics Command and Service Delivery Division.
The forum clearly outlined the many opportunities open to local Central and Northern Queensland businesses to engage with Defence and gain work. Further engagement sessions will be held with Defence in relation to on-going opportunities.
