Back to Work Regional Program

The Back to Work Regional program gives Queensland employers the confidence to take on new employees and to use this opportunity to grow their businesses.
Eligible employers will receive payments of up to $20,000 to hire an unemployed jobseeker in a full-time position.
Eligible regions include:
- Wide Bay Burnett
- Central Queensland
- Mackay/Whitsunday
- South West Queensland
- North Queensland
- North West Queensland
- Far North Queensland.
Back to Work teams are based throughout regional Queensland to support both employers and jobseekers locally.
