Growing Regions Program – Round 2 open for applications

The Australian Government has committed $600 million over four years, commencing in 2023-24 for the program to provide funding for capital works projects that will enhance liveability, bolster social cohesion and support local amenity in regional, rural and remote communities across Australia. Funding of $393 million is available under Round 2.
The program provides funding of between $500,000 and $15 million to local government entities and incorporated not-for-profit organisations for capital works projects that will enhance liveability, bolster social cohesion and support local amenity throughout Australia’s regions.
As part of the Round 2 application process, applicants will be required to complete an initial online eligibility checklist to confirm eligibility, project readiness and program suitability.
Applicants that meet the eligibility requirements will be able to submit a full application.
Applications for Round 2 can be submitted from 5 September 2024 until 5:00 pm (AEST) 10 October 2024.
